Herman Truck Lines originally founded by Roger D. Herman began in 1974. Roger started his trucking company by pulling refrigerated trailers for Kroblin Refrigerated Express, Inc. out of Waterloo, IA. HTL was granted its operating authority in 1980 under MC-145904. Since the beginning HTL has been hauling meat products out of Iowa to the East and West Coasts. We have since expanded our operations to include refrigerated and dry products nationwide. Herman Truck Lines is still a family owned company, operated by Roger, his two sons, and a small staff of employees.

Herman Truck Lines provides transportation services across the nation. We are equipped to handle the movement of freight between plants, ports, warehouses, or any destination. Our coordinated services allow our fleet to transport Truckloads and LTL to the store shelf or any private event. Whether national or regional, we have a transportation plan to meet your needs. We are proud to offer flatbeds, dry-vans, intermodal, and refrigerated transport.
